Russia looks for new ways to trade with ArmeniaThe Federal Customs Service of Russia is actively looking for new ways to trade with Armenia, which is complicated because the countries have no common border. According to the head of the Federal Customs Service, Andrey Belyaninov, there are two major routes - one through the Verkhny Lars-Kazbegi mountain crossing point, another one by sea, through the Georgian port of Poti.However there are some problems, according to Belyaninov. "Unfortunately, the Verkhny Lars-Kazbegi crossing point depends strongly on the weather. This year alone there were two avalanches, it was closed, there were victims on the Georgian side," Belyaninov said.
