Iranian medics demand increase in wages

 

In Tehran today health workers organized a protest demonstration in front of the Iranian parliament. The discontent of the doctors is caused by the low wages they receive, despite the existence of a law regulating this issue.The protesters demand that the government complete the implementation of the law adopted 7 years ago, which is presently not working. The doctors also complain of a heavy workload, the Trend news agency reports.
