Churkin says Russian Federation is ready to actively participate in a solution to the Syrian crisis

 

The permanent representative of Russia to the UN, Vitaly Churkin, declared that Russia is ready to participate actively in different formats for a Syrian settlement in common with the UN Secretary-General's special representative to Syria, Stephane di Mistura."We are going to take part very actively and we urge him to continue work together with us," Churkin said after private consultations in the UN Security Council on the Syrian problem with di Mistura's participation.
