Tbilisi Mayor’s Office denies information about staff with criminal records

The Tbilisi Mayor’s Office has described as false some information of the United National Movement about alleged criminal records of Gela Chiaivashvili, the head of the social service of the Mayor’s Office, Vasil Bekauri, a member of the administration of the Nadzaladevi District, and Kakha Gavasheli, a member of the administration of the Saburtalo District, News Georgia reports.

As proof, the Mayor’s Office has presented notes from the Interior Ministry of Georgia that mention no criminal records or their names ever being on the wanted list.
