Amano: we do not know whether Iranian nuclear program is peaceful

 

Amano: we do not know whether the Iranian nuclear program is peaceful IAEA can not guarantee that Iran's nuclear program has purely peaceful purposes, said its head Yukiya Amano. "We are not able to provide credible assurances regarding the absence of undeclared nuclear material and activities. In this regard, the agency can not conclude that all nuclear material in Iran is used for peaceful purposes," he said quoted by RIA Novosti. 

 

The IAEA cannot guarantee that Iran's nuclear program has purely peaceful purposes, said its head Yukiya Amano. 

"We are not able to provide credible assurances regarding the absence of undeclared nuclear material and activities. In this regard, the agency cannot conclude that all the nuclear material in Iran is used for peaceful purposes," he is quoted as saying by RIA Novosti.
