Iran to double gas production

he head of the National Iranian Gas Company, Hamid Reza Araki, has stated today that Iran plans to double gas production by 2017, whether or not Western sanctions against the country are lifted.

According to Araki, the basis for the increase will be the expansion of gas production in four fields of South Pars to 100 million cubic meters per day.
