Migrants might return to Armenia because of sanctions against the Russian Federation

 

The sanctions imposed by Western countries against Russia could lead to the return of Armenian citizens working there."Today we notice a tendency towards a fall in the volume of private money transfers being sent to Armenia, meaning that a return of labor migrants to Armenia isn't excluded," the chairman of the Union of Employers of Armenia Gagik Makaryan declared.According to his estimates, the developing situation will raise the unemployment rate and poverty in the country.
