Rescuers find body of second worker killed at SOCAR platform

 

Rescuers have found the body of the second worker killed in an accident that had happened on an off-shore platform of SOCAR last evening. A 60-meter scaffold connecting two platforms crashed, resulting in the collapse of a pipeline with a diameter of 250mm, TASS reports.Five workers of the N. Narimanov Oil and Gas Extraction Directorate were sent to fix the constructions, but the platform they were on collapsed, resulting in the workers’ falling into the sea.Three people were saved, one was found dead, the fifth has been found dead too.
