Makhachkala blast declared act of terror

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Prosecutor-General's Office has recognized the attack on the police cordon in Makhachkala an act of terror and instituted legal proceedings.

The incident occurred yesterday at 23.30. An unidentified suicide bomber blew himself up near the police cordon, injuring 24 people, including 8 police officers.
