The Institute of Russian Language and Culture of Lomonosov MSU celebrates its sixtieth anniversary

The celebration of 60 years from the date of foundation of the Institute of the Russian language and Culture of Lomonosov Moscow State University has taken place in Moscow. The institute is the oldest educational department involved in teaching Russian as a foreign language, and the distribution and promotion of Russian around the world. Its director Professor Vera Stepanenko spoke about the importance of the round anniversary and about the role which the Institute of Russian and Culture plays.
