3 militants killed in Makhachkala

3 militants were killed and 2 arrested by police forces during a counter-terrorist field operation in Makhachkala, RIA Novosti reports, referring to a statement from the National Counter-Terrorist Committee. One of the arrested gunmen is suspected of involvement in the attack on a police cordon last night, in which some 30 people
received injuries.

The militants killed during the operation are being identified.
