Tamar Beruchashvili heads Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Tamar Beruchashvili has been appointed the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, prime minister Irakli Garibashvili announced today.Beruchashvili replaces Maya Pandzhikidze, who voluntary resigned on November 5 after Garibashvili dismissed the minister of defence, Irakli Alasania. Initially Beruchashvili was going to resign as a deputy minister following Pandzhikidze, but changed his mind after a conversation with Alasania, TASS reports.
