Xi Jinping urged Obama to study Chinese history

 

At the beginning of a meeting with U.S. President Barack Obama in the Chinese governmental residence of Zhongnanhai, Chinese President Xi Jinping told him about the importance of a knowledge of Chinese history for understanding the people of this country.The leaders of the USA and the People's Republic of China began negotiations after a walk through Zhongnanhai.Obama arrived in China at Xi Jinping's invitation the day before to participate in the recently-ended APEC summit, and also on a state visit which will last till November 12.
