Negotiations on Azerbaijan’s WTO membership postponed until 2015

Negotiations on the WTO membership of Azerbaijan have been postponed from late November–early December to Q1 2015, said Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmoud Mamedkuliyev heading the negotiating group, Trend reports.

The postponement may be a result of Kazakhstan joining the Organization in late 2014, the diplomat explained.

According to Mamedkuliyev, bilateral talks with WTO members and multilateral talks on support of agriculture are planned in February 2015.
