Georgian president ready for debates with parliament

 

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili has expressed readiness for any form of speech at the parliament, including debates, News Georgia reports.Margvelashvili needs to make a speech at the parliament on November 14 about the political crisis. After half an hour of speech, the floor will be taken by Speaker of Parliament David Usupashvili.The idea to hold debates was proposed by members of the United National Movement who wanted a serious discussion. Vakhtang Khmaladze, the head of the legal committee, spoke out against the initiative, calling debates after the president’s speech a violation of the Constitution.
