Aramaz named NATO envoy to Afghanistan

 

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has appointed Ismail Aramaz, an ex-envoy of Turkey in Kabul, as the NATO envoy to Afghanistan. The new envoy is expected to enter the new office next year, TASS reports.Aramaz will replace Maurits Jochems on the post. The latter became the envoy to Kabul in August 2012.
