Joe Biden wants Russia to pay compensation for violating Ukraine’s sovereignty

U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden discussed the situation in the Middle East, Ukraine, European energy security and the gas market, and the readiness of NATO to react to challenges at a meeting with Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka. Biden thanked Sobotka for the assistance of the Czech Republic in Iraq and Afghanistan, TASS reports.

The vice president emphasized the importance of penalizing Russia for violating Ukraine’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the Minsk Protocol signed on September 5.
