Veterans to be commemorated in Maikop

The Bessmertny Polk campaign will be organized in Maikop on May 9, 2015, to mark the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. All veterans of the war from Maikop will be named. Every resident of Adygeya will have an opportunity to march with a portrait of a relative who contributed to winning the war, Yuga.ru reports.

Special stands with information about veterans will be set up at schools. Veterans of the Afghan and the Chechen wars will take part in the campaign.
