Azerbaijan buys poultry only from Turkey, U.S. and Brazil. Yolchu Khanveli, spokesman of the State Veterinary Service of the Azerbaijani Ministry for Agriculture, clarified that poultry from the UK, Germany and the Netherlands was not imported due to cases of bird flu in their shipments, Trend reports.Azerbaijan is a member of the World Organization for Animal Health and imports meat and poultry according to the rules of the Organization, with account of the epizootic situation.
