Security of Kurds is security of Turkey, says prime minister

 

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said at a press conference in Erbil (capital of Iraqi Kurdistan) said that the security of the Kurdish Region and Turkey was interconnected and was a strategic issue, RIA Novosti reports.Commenting on talks with President of Iraqi Kurdistan Masoud Barzani, the PM noted that they discussed Turkey’s assistance in training forces to fight ISIS. Davutoglu praised the new Iraqi government and opined that presence of representatives of all ethnic groups and religions was a guarantee for the future of the country.
