Putin says rouble's fall is favourable for Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin says the ongoing fall of the rouble is favourable for the country. Since Russian oil and gas are being traded for US dollars, a lower exchange rate brings more money to the federal budget, the president explains.

He admitted however that the situation surrounding industry is worsening.
