Ashkhabad hosts seminar on healthcare diplomacy

 

Ashkhabad is hosting an international seminar called “Healthcare Diplomacy” organized by the European Regional Bureau of the WHO, Geneva Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and the Turkmen Ministry for Healthcare and Medical Industry, Turkmenistan.ru reports.WHO officials, Swiss medics, authorities and staff of medical and diplomatic organizations of Serbia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan take part in the seminar.They will discuss the impact of globalization on healthcare in the Central Asian Region, concepts, tendencies and instruments of healthcare diplomacy and correlation with foreign policy.
