Azerbaijan to build steelworks complex

 

Azerbaijan will build 5 steelworks in 3-4 years to increase steel production to 1 million tons a year, said Azerbaijani Minister for Economy and Industry Shakhin Mustafayev at the Baku International Industrial Conference, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports.The minister added that Azerbaijan was building a factory for production of polymers, a carbamide factory, developing oil and gas refineries and petrochemical complexes. Azerbaijan built a glass factory. Mustafayev noted that construction of a new glass factory in an industrial park was being discussed.
