Start of OPEC session takes oil prices down

As of 12.01pm, the price for Brent dropped by 2.3% to $75.99 per barrel. Its previous lowest was at $75.64 per barrel in September 2010. The price of January futures for WTI oil dropped by 1.97% to $72.27 per barrel, RIA Novosti reports.The prices dropped in the light of the opening of the OPEC session today.
