Turkmenistan-Iran-Kazakhstan railway to open on December 3

The Turkmenistan-Iran-Kazakhstan railway will open on December 3, 2014. Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov (Turkmenistan), Nursultan Nazarbayev (Kazakhstan) and Hassan Rouhani (Iran) will attend the opening, Trend reports.

National railways will be connected on the Turkmen-Iranian border. The Turkmen-Kazakhstani sections were connected in May 2013. Berdimuhamedov said that the railway will boost socio-economic development, employment, prosperity and living standards.
