Russian minister for sports interested in football development program

Russian football manager Valery Gazzayev said that his football development program was of interest to Sports Minister Vitaly Mutko. Gazzayev proposed formation of the Russian Football League to consolidate football teams and give them a common vector for development, Sport-Express reports.The RFU expressed its interest in the program in August to no avail. The conversation about the program with the minister three days ago may inspire more optimism, according to Gazzayev. He added that the country needed to prepare better for the 2018 World Cup.
