Azerbaijan is ready to understand Russia's problems

Azerbaijan is much closer to understanding the challenges Russia is facing than may seem, editor-in-chief of the magazine Russia in Global Policy Alexander Lukyanov said after visiting the Azerbaijani capital of Baku.

The journalist attended a round-table conference organized by the North-South information agency devoted to the political situation in the former Soviet republics.

According to Lukyanov, Azerbaijan is facing similar problems, such as lower oil prices and territorial claims.
