Expert on Russian-Turkish cooperation in the sphere of energy

President Putin has already noted his satisfaction with Turkey's decision to resume close ties with Russia despite EU sanctions against the country.

According to Kara, Russia and Turkey are both interested in successful bilateral ties in the economic sphere.
Russian companies which enter the Turkish market secure high market competition, which leads to quicker economic development, while Russia is interested in Turkey as a possible deliverer of its energy resources, he explained.
