There are many opportunities for Russia and Turkey to enhance mutual ties

Turkey will not join the EU sanctions against Russia, moreover the country is interested in enhancing its cooperation with Russia in order to secure successful resolutions of the Syrian and Iraqi crisises, Turkey's EU Minister said last month.

According to Russian Senator from the Ingush Republic Ahmet Plankoyev, this means that there are many opportunities for Russia and Turkey to enhance mutual ties.

The statesman noted that Turkey is interested in increased deliveries of its products to Russia. Agricultural products are among those which may successfully enter the Russian market, he says.

However Turkey is able to deliver industrial products as well, he stressed.
