Russian military base in Armenia to mark Unknown Soldier’s Day

The 102nd Russian military base in Armenia will mark the Unknown Soldier’s Day. Archimandrite Andrey, the base commander’s assistant for religion, will start the day with a liturgy. Commaanders, diplomats, members of the Russian FSB Border Directorate in Armenia, clerics, administrators of the Shirak Province and Gyumri, veterans and families of soldiers will commemorate people killed in wars and military conflicts in Armenia since 1804, lay flowers to the obelisk of soldiers at the Honour Hill Memorial Complex, RIA Novosti reports.Pupils of School N19 of the Russian Defense Ministry will have a trip to the museum of soldiers’ glory of a military base at the Bolshaya Krepost Military Town.
