20th International Telecommunications and Information Technologies Exhibition and Conference opens in Baku

The Azerbaijani Ministry for Communication and High Technologies declared the Week of High Technologies within the framework of Bakutel. 250 companies from 23 countries of the world and international organizations are taking part in Bakutel. The exhibition and conference is open from December 2nd to 5th, abc.az reports.
Israfil Ashurly, a businessman and founder of Insol Telecom, called Bakutel-2014 a significant event in the communications and IT sector. He noted that his company had taken part in the exhibition and conference for four years. In his words, the number of foreign companies taking part in the event grows every year, its trend changes every year.
Ashurly said that the participation of the Azerbaijani Ministry for Communication and Information in international communication processes was very important. The businessman clarified that Insol Telecom was a Russian company at the exhibition. A group of Insol telecommunication companies was presented at the Russian stand this year.
According to Ashurly, the Russian stand was visited by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. The company informed him about its plans and history.
The businessman believes that Bakutel-2014 is a bright demonstration of communications in Azerbaijan. Development taking years in other countries was more swift in Azerbaijan, Ashurly stated. The global strategic goals in the telecommunications and high-tech sectors of Azerbaijan are very dynamic and ambitious. Azerbaijan plans full broadband Internet coverage, the formation of DATA centers and telecommunications hubs.
