Robert Prosinecki becomes chief coach of Azerbaijani national football team

 

Robert Prosinecki (Croatia) has become the chief coach of the Azerbaijani national football team. A contract with him was signed until the end of the qualitative cycle of the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia will host. Prosinecki replaced Berti Vogts (Germany) as the chief coach.Robert Prosinecki won a bronze prize at the 1998 FIFA World Cup in France. He trained the Croatian national team in 2006-2010, then he trained Red Star Belgrade (Serbia) and Kayserispor (Turkey).The Azerbaijani team plays in the H group of the UEFA Euro 2016 qualification cycle. Azerbaijan is ranked lowest in the group.
