Azerbaijan to have day off on December 23 for municipal elections

 

According to article 105-1 of the Azerbaijani Labour Code, December 23 will be declared a day free of work for municipal elections. 15,035 workers of 1,607 municipalities in 118 electoral districts will be elected, Interfax-Azerbaijan reports.The Azerbaijani CEC has registered 36,770 candidates. 4,976,302 ballot sheets will be printed.
