Georgia activates wine export

Georgian Premier Nika Gilauri ordered the Minister of Agriculture
Bakur Kvezereli to meet the Turkish minister of agriculture and trade,
Business Georgia reports.


The premier said that Georgia and Turkey signed an agreement on Free
Trade, which involves the export of Georgian wine to Turkey without
paying duty. The premier said that 1 million litres of wine will be
exported to Turkey, Georgia has only realized 40 000 -- 60 000 litres
so far.


Kvezereli was also ordered to activate advertising efforts on the US market.
