Ukraine stops shelling Donbass

The Ukrainian military have declared a ceasefire in the east of the country, as ordered by President Petro Poroshenko. According to the Donetsk and the Luhansk oblasts, the ceasefire has not been broken. The upcoming round of Minsk peace talks set for today was postponed until December 12, Lenta.ru reports.

The Ukrainian military were attacked by terrorists several times yesterday. An attack happened at Donetsk Airport. The Ukrainian artillery responded with 56 shots.

December 9 was declared a day of silence last week.

The previous ceasefire agreement was reached in September, reducing the intensity of attacks.
