Russian parliament to discuss ratification of agreement on Armenian membership in EaEU

 

The Russian State Duma will discuss ratification of the agreement on Armenia’s joining the EaEU (Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan), introduced by Russian President Vladimir Putin on December 2, TASS reports.Leonid Slutsky, the head of the Duma committee on CIS affairs, said that Armenia’s decision was historical in the architecture of the Union.Armenia will become a member of the EaEU on January 1, 2015.
