Chief of Russian General Staff calls global situation unstable

 

Chief of the Russian General Staff Army General Valery Gerasimov said that the military and political situation in the world was unstable. He noted that the anti-Russian rhetoric of the West and NATO and deployment of forces on the Russian border were not contributing to stability, TASS reports.The general added that Russia was under pressure in all vital sectors. He believes that the West wants to weaken the military and economic potential, scientific, technical and technological development in strategic sectors.
