Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway construction almost frozen in Turkey

The construction of the Turkish section of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars Railway has practically been stopped, although the prime minister demanded its completion by the end of 2015.Kars Province Governor Guney Ozdemir initiated an inspection. It was confirmed that the construction site had only one excavator and 4 trucks. The contractor has built about 80km of the railway in 6 years.
