European Commission blacklists airlines of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan

The European Commission has blacklisted Kyrgyz and Kazakhstani airlines. The only exception is Air Astana. All airlines of Libya, Liberia, Mozambique, Nepal, Philippines (except two companies), Sierra Leone, Sudan and Zambia entered the list.The EU blacklist is revised every three months. It currently includes 310 companies from 21 countries. Russian airlines have not been put on the list. The European Commission may remove airlines from the list if they prove compliance with EU safety standards.
