Georgia will be popularized by youth abroad

Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili today met with ten young people who have subscribed to the promotion of culture among the youth of the country abroad.

 

At the meeting the development of relations with compatriots living abroad was discussed, as well as informing Georgians and foreigners about the economy, education, culture, sports and history of Georgia.

 

According to the results of the competition, in the framework of the "Youth Policy Development Programme" of the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs of Georgia, representatives of the country with a mandate for one year were named: Ioseb Zhorzholiani - in the United States; Salome Saladze - in Austria; Michael Sarjveladze - in Germany; Giorgi Lomidze - in the UK; Theon Varshalomidze - in Turkey; Sandra Vekua - in Lithuania; Ketevan Prangulaishvili - in Poland; Leah Chipashvili - in France; Michael Gegechkoris - in Ukraine and Lasha Naveriani - in the Czech Republic, Novosti-Georgia reports.

 

They will carry out creative, sporting and educational projects, including which Georgian youth residing abroad will participate.
