Russian FM and US Secretary of State meet in Rome

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry are holding a meeting in Rome, the US embassy in Rome says in a statement.

The two officials are believed to be focusing on the situation in the Middle East.
