Central Bank of Azerbaijan lifts Contact payment system ban

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan is ready to lift the ban for using Contact payment system, the head of the bank’s communications department Rufat Abbasov said, Trend reports.

Abbasov said that tomorrow the banks will receive notifications about lifting of the ban.
AKB RUSSLAVBANK will monitor and carry out program-technological actions to fulfill demands of the Central Banks.

On August 2 the Central Bank of Azerbaijan halted all cash transit of the Contact payment system.
