CSTO states sign 22 documents
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaRussia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan have concluded the CSTO summit in Moscow by signing a joint declaration of the heads of state, 19 decisions and 2 protocols, TASS reports.
The declaration expresses the preoccupation of CSTO leaders with rising terrorism threats and extremism in Central Asia in the light of the Afghan factor. They emphasized the need to restore peace in Ukraine and Nagorno-Karabakh, as stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin’s Aide Yuri Ushakov.
The decisions include inspection of the readiness of the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces, a decision on the anti-drug strategy, a decision on the development of the Forces in the context of emergency situations.
The CSTO countries signed a decision on the CSTO consultation and coordination center for computer incidents and passed a protocol on prevention of crime in the information sector. The protocol will make the PROKSI Operation on prevention of crime in the information sector permanent.
