SOCAR’s work in Georgia in 2014 summarized in Tbilisi

On Thursday, Georgian prime minister Irakli Garibashvili met the president of SOCAR Rovnag Abdullayev. They summed up the company’s work in Georgia in 2014.


At the beginning of the meeting Abdullayev passed on to Garibashvili the greetings of Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev.


The parties discussed the progress of the project "Southern Gas Corridor", it was noted that one of the main roles in it was given to Georgia as a transit country.


The meeting was attended by the head of SOCAR Georgia Gas, Mahir Mammadov, and the Azerbaijani ambassador to Georgia, Azer Huseyn, Trend reports quoting the press service of the prime minister of Georgia.
