Ukrainian exports to Russia drop by 27%, exports to EU increase by 11%

Ukrainian exports to Russia dropped by 27% (about $3.3 billion), exports to the EU increased by 11% ($1.3 billion), as of January-September 2014, RIA Novosti reports.


Ukrainian companies have not fully adopted European standards. Dairy and meat companies have been in a complicated situation, about 90-95% of Ukrainian stock farmers have been unprepared for European technologies. Ukrainian machinery needs investments to integrate into European standards.
