Emergency situation declared in Krasnodar Territory

An emergency situation was declared in flooded districts of Krasnodar Territory. Waves from the Azov Sea flooded the villages of Dolzhanskaya and Yasenskaya Pereprava in the Yeysky District and Sadki in the Primorsko-Akhtarsky District last night, TASS reports.


150 houses were checked in the Primorsky-Akhtarsky District, 80 of them were flooded, 28 partly flooded. The water level was reaching 10-15cm. An operative center was formed to monitor the situation and weather 24/7.
200 people were evacuated.


The Ministry for Emergencies warned about wind speeds of 20m/s in the the Yeysky, Primorsko-Aljtarsly, Slavyansky, Temryuksky, Tuapsinsky and Shcherbinovsky districts, Anapa, Gelendzhik, Novorossiysk and Sochi. All coastal services on the Black and Azov Seas were mobilized.
