New building of correctional school opens in Grozny
Read on the website Vestnik KavkazaA new building of a correctional school for hearing-impaired children has opened in Grozny. It has rooms for 60 children. Chechen Minister for Education and Science Ismail Baykhanov said that the new building had had 247 children studying since the opening of the school in 2008. It has rooms for studies, canteens, sports and recital rooms, playgrounds.
The new building was built in 6 months, meeting all standards. It may become one of the 5 most well-equipped centers of its kind.
Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov has thanked the staff of the correctional boarding school for their hard work.
Ayshat Khashumov, the school principal, thanked Aymani Kadyrova, the president of the Regional Public Fund of Russian Hero Akhmat-Haji Kadyrov, for financial support, a 24-seat Citroen bus and New Year presents for the children.
