NATO Secretary General arrives in Tbilisi

Thursday evening, RIA Novosti reports, citing the press-service of the
Georgian vice-premier, who is also the state minister for integration
into European structures.
Rasmussen was welcomed by Vice-Premier Georgiy Baramidze and the
Georgian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Georgiy Bokeria at the
international airport of Tbilisi.
He will meet Minister of Foreign Affairs Grigol Vashadze on Friday
before talks at the Defense Ministry. Rasmussen will also meet
Parliamentary Speaker David Bakradze and Premier Nikoloz Gilauri.
Rasmussen will also take part in the opening ceremony of the partner
office of NATO in Tbilisi.
The visit will be concluded by a meeting with Georgian President
Mikhail Saakashvili at the president's residence in the Avlabar
district of Tbilisi, followed by a joint press-conference.
The sides will also continue talks within the Georgia-NATO commission.
