Germany is ready to let Greece leave the eurozone

The German authorities have changed their position on the Greek decision to leave the eurozone and now agree to such a scenario in case of emergency, the magazine Spiegel says, with reference to sources in the German government.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble, according to the publication, came to the conclusion that Greece rejecting the euro would be an acceptable step. Previously, they held the opposite point of view, but the exit of the eurozone from crisis allowed them to change their position, Lenta.ru reports.
