New ski resort may appear in Crimea

A ski resort might be built near the top of the legendary Crimean peak of Ai-Petri, according to a proposal made to investors by the Minister of Tourism and Resorts of Crimea, Elena Yurchenko, speaking in Simferopol.

"The idea is that the resort will not be on Ai-Petri, because this is a nature reserve, but on adjacent territory," Yurchenko is quoted by Infoline.ua.

Previously, the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia has offered domestic businessmen to participate in investment projects planned for implementation in Crimea worth $5 billion.
